Meals

Yuli takes care of all household chores like daily cleaning, changing and making beds, mineral water coffee, tea, etc. Defects in or around the house you can discuss with her too. She can contact the helpdesk for support.

On request she can do the daily shopping and catering. Yuli specializes in delicious Indonesian and Balinese dishes and loves cooking. On Saturday she can prepare the meals for Sunday (her day off).

Of course, you can also cook yourself or prepare a lunch, or visit one of the many restaurants in Lovina or Singaraja.

Laundry

Yuli regularly changes the beds and washes bed linen, towels and home textiles. In the service cottage is a washing machine. You can also ask her to do your laundry and if required ironing, for which you pay her a small fee. In the manual of the house is a list of rates.

Garden and swimming pool

Garden and pool are maintained by gardener Pastika. He sprays and prunes the garden, and takes care of cleaning, water quality, chlorination and refilling of the pool.

Internet

Fast WIFI (own long range network antenna and auxiliary power unit)

Electricity

220 volt 50 Hz (Dutch / European plugs type C and / or F). Extra lights in case of a black out: 3 rechargeable battery lamps, two solar reading lamps, oil lamps.

Water

Piped water is supplied to a 8,000 liter water tank on the site. There is a boiler for hot water in bathrooms and kitchen. Drinking water: mineral water is available in the kitchen (25 liter container) and bathrooms (jugs).

Waste incineration

There is no waste collection service in Tiga Wasa. There is a burning pit on the border of the terrain to burn household and garden waste.

Security at night   

Every nigh tbetween 06.00 pm and 06.00 am terrain and villa are guarded by Slamat. He starts with a sacrificial ritual (see below), resides in the bale benong, uses the facilities of the service cottage and makes several rounds with his lantern during the night.

Balinese body massage

For an authentic and relaxing Balinese body massage a professional masseuse is available on request. The bale benong is the recommended place for this. Yuli can arrange an appointment for you. The masseuse’s fee you pay to her directly. 

Sacrifice to the gods and demons

Next to the villa, there is a small house temple dedicated to the Balinese demon Jero Gede. This kind of sacrificial altars can be found at any home or building in Bali. Every day a small ceremony is performed to protect home, property and residents.
