Although it is possible to reach the beach in Lovina on foot, guests of Villa Sarah Nafi will primarily rely on private transport for (day)trips, shopping, transfers to the airport in Denpasar, the ferries to Lombok or Java or your next destination in Bali.

There are several options:

• Rental of a car with driver (at fixed rates, a price list is included in the manual which is available in the villa)
• Rental of a self-drive car
• Rental of one or more self-drive scooters (125 cc)

The help desk can assist with all possible arrangements. Rental companies request an international driving licence for both cars and motorbikes/scooters. Lovina and the coastal plains can be explored by bike. There are several bike rental shops in central Lovina (Kalibukbuk).

Along the coastal road blue Bemo's (minibuses) commute between Singaraja and Seririt. Daytime only. Here you can find Ojeks (motorbike taxi's) as well. The Grab and Gojek motorbike taxi's avialable in many Indonesian cities are not available yet in Nort Bali.

Walking directions are available in de manual in the villa, or ask the staff. 

^{Note: the winding uphill road to the villa you might call 'challenging'. Not experienced car divers  or scooter riders might  feel more relaxed when using a car with driver. The mountainous hairpins, left-hand driving and the Indonesian driving practice of fellow road users do request the necessary concentration and skills of any self-driver. If you choose to accept this, it is fun and you will get used to it quickly.}
